actually worked well. i was surprised. i was not expecting much but was glad that i was delightfully surprised. took a while for it to work for me. i let it sit(turned on) for 5-10 minutes before using it(only because i really wanted it hot).

after an hour and 30 minutes i was able to get my hair straight , as straight as i wanted it to be.

overall: my hair was straight, however it looked like i had some volume, so it was not flat straight.

overall i think this is a good iron for anyone looking into buying one or a veteran like me.
